Thank you for your interest in the Andrews Taxis iPhone App.
Andrews Taxis consist of two taxi circuits, Andrews Taxis Rochford (Essex) which has been the premier taxi company in the Rochford area for over 65 years and Andrews Taxis Southend (Essex) which is based in the Southend area has now been operating with our Southend Taxis and private hire cars for twenty years and have established themselves to be a leading company in Southend.
We have recently moved to a new state of the art call centre and have installed the latest computer controlled software.
This App allows you to book a taxi for either the Southend or Rochford areas.
You can:
• Make a booking
• Add multiple pick-ups (vias)
• Book a return trip
• Check the status of your taxi on route to you
• Track your vehicle on a map
• See an ETA for your booking
• Set up your ten favourite addresses making booking simple and quick
• Cancel your booking
• Manage your previous bookings
• All long distance journeys covered
• All Airports at set fares

Great app, horrible service
I’m giving this 2 stars purely out of respect for the developer. Otherwise, I booked a cab in advance to make sure it’s coming as I’ve had an appointment. Ten minutes after it didn’t show, I’ve called the company on the phone and a nonchalant person told me it’s a few more minutes. I’ve cancelled after 25 minutes waiting in front of my house, appointment missed, and then they informed me that transferring the money back will take a few days (they pre-charge you a higher amount for security).
Safe, Secure and Professional Service
I wouldn’t use any other app.
All the convenience of other app based ride companies, with the added security of knowing you are being driven by a professional, DBS checked driver with excellent local knowledge.
